Take Your Seat

Sponsor one of 311 seats in The Civic’s three new theatres, now under construction.

NCTS is a registered Canadian charity. All online gifts receive a tax receipt.

The Civic is being rebuilt as three theatres, with an elevator, accessible seating and a new lobby. Three screens mean longer runs, room for smaller films, and festivals, talks and youth programs alongside the regular shows.

Sponsor a seat today.

How it works

What do I get?: A QR code on your seat for five years. Scanning it shows your dedication: a name, a message and a photo.
Who can I dedicate a seat to?: Yourself, your family, someone you want to remember, or your business.
When do I write the dedication?: After you pay, from your account. You can change it later.
Can I sponsor more than one seat?: Yes, up to 20 at a time, in any of the three theatres.
Can I pay monthly?: Yes, in 12 monthly payments.
Where does the money go?: All funds raised go directly towards building the three new theatres at The Civic.
