We want to bring the Drive-In back this summer.

Honestly, we really want to bring it back.

Some of the most joyful moments we’ve experienced as an organization over the past few years happened in those parking lots and vacant spaces - families piled into trucks with blankets, friends sharing popcorn under the stars, and entire audiences laughing together from lawn chairs and tailgates.

But this year, we need to approach things differently.

To make a Summer 2026 Drive-In season financially possible while navigating a difficult operational year and major organizational transition, we are launching a limited community pass initiative.

Here’s the deal:

If 100 community passes are purchased by May 31, the Drive-In season moves forward.

If we don’t reach 100, we won’t proceed, and every purchaser will receive a full refund.

Each pass:

• Covers everyone in your vehicle
• Is valid all summer long
• Includes unlimited screenings
• Can be shared with family, friends, staff, neighbours, guests, or customers
• Includes early ticket access before public release

This initiative is about more than movies.

NCTS continues to navigate significant operational challenges during this transformational period for The Civic Theatre. Revenue from this initiative directly supports the operational foundation that allows us to continue programming films, employing staff, supporting youth programs, and serving this community while we move through renovation and growth.

In short: this is one of the ways community support can directly help keep NCTS strong and active right now.
