A unique All ages Oscar gala event while The Civic remains closed. Ala Marty Supreme, come in your best Oscar worthy court wear for an afternoon/evening Ping-Pong tournament.
$40 player registration enters you into the tournament, gets you a slice of the custom Thor's 'Marty Supreme' Pizza, Civic popcorn, Pixie Candy bar and a non-alcholic creation, an 80's new wave soundtrack served up by guest DJ. Prizes & Auctions!
Licensed bevies available for purchase from the Squash Club Social Lounge Bar.
$25 spectator ticket gets you all the above minus the tournament entry.
Proceeds from the fundraiser aid in Civic operation costs while the main venue continues to be closed for renovations. No outdoor footwear permited in the squash courts for tournament play, so be a good neighbour and Mister Rogers that sh*t, with some indoor shoes. A huge thanks to the Nelson Squash Club for hosting this event.

Oscars Live Stream Watch Party & Commercial Break Karaoke

Walk the red carpet and get your picture taken at the Civic Oscar photo wall in all your Oscar finest (Best dressed prizes). Fill out your ballot picks for a chance at some great prizes and pick your Karaoke song from music featured among the nominated films to sing over the commercial breaks. You know there is great food and drinks to order over the evening from Sakura's menu. Get there early for good seats. Red Carpet starts at 3:30pm. Awards ceremony at 4pm.
