How will re-opening the Civic Theatre benefit Nelson?

The more than 4,000 signatures of people who support re-opening the theatre collected in our initial survey suggest direct benefit for anyone who enjoys watching movies, satellite feed sports and cultural events on the big screen, and other stage and screen programming. In addition, a reopened Civic Theatre will revitalize evening activity downtown and provide economic spin-offs, especially to restaurants, coffee shops and pubs.
